# Forgetful > Forgetful is a Chrome extension that replaces the new tab page with one calm page of notes and to dos, so you keep seeing your tasks until they're done. No account, no tracking, and it works with Claude. - Website: https://forgetful.me/ - Install: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/ggmbndgpegemgkaimhcdpmcgmfjkdkbi - Privacy policy: https://forgetful.me/privacy - Contact: hello@forgetful.me ## What it does - Shows your notes and to dos on every new tab in Chrome. - One page with headings, to dos, lists and quotes. Press Space on an empty line for the block menu. - Add a task from any website with Alt Shift N, the toolbar button, or the right-click menu ("Add to Forgetful"). - Hide everything in one click (or Cmd/Ctrl Shift .) before sharing your screen. - Saves as you type, keeps version history, exports to Markdown or a full backup. - Syncs through the user's own Chrome profile. Day and night themes; serif, sans or mono text. ## Works with Claude Users can connect Claude as a custom connector at https://sync.forgetful.me/mcp. Claude can then list open tasks, read the notes page, add tasks, tick them off, and log work under a task. The connection is off until the user connects it from Forgetful's settings, and one click disconnects it. ## Pricing - Free for 30 days with every feature. No card, no account. - $4.99 for one year, or $12.99 once for lifetime use. - Nothing renews or charges automatically. When a plan ends, notes stay readable and exportable. ## Privacy Notes live in the browser (chrome.storage) and sync through the user's Chrome profile. Forgetful has no account system, analytics or ads in the extension. If Claude is connected, the notes page is stored encrypted on Forgetful's sync server and decrypted only to answer Claude's requests.
